  • There are nearly 40,000 denominations across the United States that claim to have the keys to heaven when in fact most teach nothing but superstition and inerrant dogma  in order to assure that people feel good when they leave their services through entertainment, propaganda , or special programming.

  • To make matters worse, there are many bible-based ministries that are perverting the gospel of grace through ignorance and deception or through legalism ( a practice that "guilt's" people into serving God) in an attempt to fund their church coffers for personal gain! 

 God's truth for man today has been revealed and it is called the gospel of the grace of Jesus Christ.  Dialog is encouraged as well as the sharing of grace-centered sites and ideas in order to magnify Our Lord Jesus Christ and His message of grace as He revealed it to the apostle Paul.

The Lightstreet Journal is a bi-monthly voice that combats the false doctrine and perversion that has infiltrated into The Church - The Body of Christ.  This resource will attempt to:

  • Emphasize "right division" of God's Word.

  • Equip the saints to acknowledge the apostle Paul's distinctive ministry as he received it from The Risen, Glorified, Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3).

  • Encourage biblical self-sufficiency and self-growth in learning about God's grace (Romans through Philemon).

  • Acknowledge our continual failure and shortcomings (Romans 3:23) and therefore look only towards our oneness with Christ and His sufficiency  for victorious living in this present evil age.

  • Provide some humor (mixed with sarcasm) and family rated anecdotes

Although not a blog (not a bad idea for the future....), The Journal is where people can read about (and contribute if you want to) articles that magnify the gospel of the grace of God that Jesus Christ committed unto Paul. 

It is my prayer that that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all. (Ephesians 1:17-22)
